I love Keto Chow. There are dozens of exemplary options to choose from. Peppermint Keto Chow is the worst I have tasted. I've tried nearly every flavor, only missing a few rare seasonal ones that never came back. Some are weak, like the original vanilla, root beer, or pistachio. But those are just weak flavors that aren't very fun or felt like they were not hitting the mark for the desired name. But they never tasted "bad" to me. Peppermint on the other hand had this chemically fake taste to it that was just strange. The aftertaste was actually oddly OK (actually pretty good). But with each sip I was wondering if something was wrong with it. Just chemically fake tasting. Over the years I've had just about every type of peppermint product, cheap tiny candy canes that come on rolls, decent full size peppermint candy canes from Spangler or Brachs, hand crafted, generic, in drinks, hot chocolates, chocolate, mints, cheap teas, quality teas, etc. Out of all of those, the Peppermint Keto Chow still wins as the worst Peppermint flavor I have ever had. Even against the generic mini candy canes that come on rolls and people staple to things like flyers. To be clear, Keto Chow is great. Mint Chocolate is terrific, as is Chocolate Peanut Butter, Vanilla Cream, Raspberry Cheesecake, the list goes on and on I could recommend. But not this one. Just awful.

Can I use Keto Chow if I'm lactose intolerant?
Most Keto Chow flavors have a milk protein isolate base, which has a small amount of lactose. However, many people who have problems with lactose are able to handle the relatively small amounts without problems, or use a lactase enzyme supplement.
