Turning a liquid flavor into a powder requires a binder. While nearly all other electrolytes use maltodextrin (and don’t share that fact unless you call and ask), we absolutely REFUSE to use it, not even a trace. Instead, we use acacia gum. It works as well, without the spike in blood sugar, gut issues, or being made from GMOs. It also lets fats mix with water. It’s extremely cool stuff. you can read more about here.

We use malic acid as a preservative and emulsifier. Many other products use citric acid instead, (and unfortunately don’t share that on their packaging) but due to controversy about certain kinds of citric acid being produced using black mold, we chose malic acid to avoid that issue altogether, and we also find that it works better in our formula, anyway!

Electrolytes are not flavorful enough
My husband doesn't prefer the flavors of SALTT, but he does like the effects of having the electrolytes... SO... I get him the Clean Slate for his water and give him a shirt of his favorite "sf" flavored water enhancers. One step at a time. I've even added a Clean Slate to iced tea and then added a squirt of lemonade. He loves it. (Me too, actually!) 🤫

Fun flavor mix
These are delicious. I think im favoring the fruit flavors although I like the coco and others, my brain just has the weirdest experience since it's coco flavors in water! 😄 I love the hydration and will definitely be getting more.
New to salty drinks - Cherry flavor
It is hard for me to review this because I am still not used to it. My basic reaction is "This would be better if it wasn't salty" but of course, the salt is the point. It's not bad, but it's hard to get myself to want to drink it. It helps to only use part of the packet at a time.
I love the granny apple - I don't drink coffee (never did) so I start my mornings with this instead! 🥰❤️
