Top flavors for SALTT Electrolyte Drink Mix – Leaderboard May 2026

We recently published our 6 month analysis of Top Keto Chow Flavors, and it’s time to do one for SALTT as well! You can view our previous SALTT leaderboard post here. We introduced The SALTT Electrolyte Drink Mix (hereafter just “SALTT”) on December 27, 2023 – almost 2 years ago! – check out this blog post for more info on why we made our own flavored electrolytes, and this post on why we do NOT use maltodextrin in our flavors.

For those using a screen reader, or that just want to see the data in tabular format, the raw data can be found after the graphs.

A continuing trend is that people REALLY like SALTT in the variety packs. Those 3 packs represent 37% of the total sales of SALTT! If you look at sales of the 30 count packs INCLUDING the variety packs, the “Fruit Variety” and “Ultra Variety” absolutely dominate the rest. We noticed last time that the percentage of sales that were the variety packs had gone down as people find the flavors they like best and grab the individual 30 packs. The trend has changed slightly with the Fruit Variety and Chocolate Variety hardly changing at all, but the Ultra Variety (which adds the Clean Slate and Chocolate flavors to the fruit variety) has seen some significant loss in popularity. It seems much of that has gone to the unflavored Clean Slate which saw a huge boost this time around.

Since the variety packs skew the data so much, let’s ignore the variety packs for a minute and take a look at just the single-flavor 30 packs.

Interestingly, the Clean Slate (no flavor, no sweetener, perfect for Carnivore!) is STILL the highest selling individual 30 pack, continuing that distinction from our last analysis. In actual $$ sold, Clean Slate saw over 1.6x sales in the last 6 months, it’s kinda crazy how much people love the Clean Slate!

Lemon Lime Twist, Mondo Melon, and Groovy Grapefruit were the next biggest winners of percentage – that’s actually really great because all 3 are fantastic flavors that I feel hadn’t really gotten a chance to shine. Red White and Bam, as well as Zesty Orange both lost considerably, some of that is likely due to some inventory issues where they temporarily ran out for a few days, but I think much is attributed to the introduction of some newer flavors (Radical Grape, Granny Apple, and Feelin’ Peachy) taking some of the sales away. We don’t have enough data on Radical Grape, Granny Apple, or Feelin’ Peachy to see how they are doing yet, expect them to be added next time we do this analysis.

Finally we come to how the individual flavor packets sold: inside of a variety pack, or not. The statistics are HEAVILY influenced by the contents of the variety packs, with the flavors that have higher quantities in the “Ultra Variety” and “Fruit Variety” taking a larger percentage by default. For example: Cherry Chill is found in both variety packs, while Clean Slate is only in the Ultra Variety. Cherry Chill LOST its status as the top flavor of SALTT, dropping all the way to #3. Relative newcomer Blue Slushies climbed to #2, and good old Clean Slate blew past everything else to take the #1 spot. I was NOT expecting that!

We announced May 2025 that Stoked Mango had been officially “discontinued” and would not be reordered once the current supply runs out, which it has now run out. We are trying to keep a small portfolio of flavors for SALTT which does mean that other flavor discontinuations for the less popular flavors are likely coming in 2026 and 2027 to make way for new offerings.
